All thing considered, this could be a lot worse.
[Susumu is sitting just on the edge of a small group of cheerleaders - a couple of other guys, but mostly the more sensible type of girl - obviously a part of it. Above and slightly to one side of them, almost off screen, is another group, this one made up of the stereotypical airheads. None of the first group seem particularly pleased by this, but they're making a good effort at ignoring it.
Susumu actually looks relaxed and comfortable in himself as he makes an announcement.]
Katsura-san, I thought I'd let you know that you can count on our [a gesture to take in the group he's with] votes. Consider it an act of mutiny.
OOC: So, since Susumu isn't exactly the emo ninja he was last time around, he gets a new role. Have cheerleader!Susumu, he might not be the most cheerful of souls most of the time, but he can fake it with the best of them. And he *gasp* actually has (NPC) friends.

[Susumu is sitting on one of the lower branches of a tree at the edge of the forest, looking about as relaxed as he can for being an emo-ninja. He's got maybe half a dozen eggs in his lap, and one in his hand that he appears to be studying. That or looking blankly through. He's also talking to himself, but not loudly enough to be made out clearly.]
[Private to Hijikata]
[still staring at the egg, but obviously aware of the camera]Forgive me for being gone so long, Hijikata-san. I thought I could memorise the forest's layout, but it kept changing.
[throws the egg lightly and catches it, breaking it and covering himself in multi-coloured glitter before turning to face the camera] I have a few more of these at the base of the tree, I'll bring them to you as soon as I can.

Is there anyone with a predator's senses, either sight, smell or hearing, who would be willing to help me train. I can be a lot better than I am.
They're in the forest too.
... I was wasting too much of my attention there anyway, I've been neglecting other skills. Ayumu, Sagaru, are either of you uncursed?

[There's a long moment of silence before Susumu finally starts speaking, and when he does he sounds vaguely amused] I guess it's a good thing we haven't got our usual animal features as well as this, otherwise I'd really have reason to kill myself.
OOC: Susumu's now a black and white striped sea snake.

[the recorder clicks on to various haunted house noises and Susumu halfway through a quiet conversation with himself] --was probably better off in the forest, at least I know what to expect in there. And where I'm going.
... I never thought I'd-- [abruptly silences himself as the sounds start getting closer] Damnit. [the recording shuts off with the faintest rustle of cloth against the walls]

This... could be a lot worse, I think being this size might even come in useful.
[Susumu is once again out and about, most of the post is made up of assorted forest sounds, when Susumu does speak, it's muttered but not all that difficult to make out] ... I'm going to have to start delegating soon, at this rate. I wonder if...
OOC: Accidental post is not so accidental. He's just making it seem like it. Because. Uh. He can?

I suppose it was too much to hope for.
I think I'm going to need some new disguises.

I don't know how many of you saw Kiske-san's entry, but it looks like trouble is brewing again. Now would be a good time to work together and share our information again.

... I really wish I couldn't remember last week.
I know the circumstances were out of my control, but I apologise for my behaviour last week. Running around like that wasn't appropriate.

Ohh~ Fireworks! Who wants to watch them with me~?
[still sounding like a girl here, and a petulant one at that] Ice cream is very messy.
[soft, feminine giggling, followed by a very convincingly girlish voice] I'm lo~nely~, someone come keep me company~?
... am I really that bad?
I see the world with my eyes open
I see the world through lidless eyes
I see a world that is sick with self-loathing
Nothing in the nothing to mystify
Black day, Black night
Flesh is burnt us under in the broad daylight
Black day, Black night
And the devil's softly singing through the thick of the fight
I see the world in sinking depression
I see the world in a stinking digression
No chance for heaven we're already in hell
And the devil's taking over at the ring of his bell
Black day, Black night
Flesh is burnt us under in the broad daylight
Black day, Black night
And the devil's softly singing through the thick of the fight
Fitting.
OOC: Three guesses which stereotype he is, and the first two don't count.
Lyrics are Black Day by Abney Park. Suitably obscure and emo for Susumu.

Anyone who's reading this, I have a proposition for you. The information network worked well during the war, but there are still a lot of people to keep an eye on in case it happens again. I've been doing as much as I can alone, but the more people who arrive, the more difficult it gets.
Perhaps we should pool our information, and lessen the workload for us all?
[Private | Unhackable] I haven't done nearly enough training since the war, I shouldn't let one success make me complacent or there won't be any more.

Thank you. I know a lot of people didn't really notice what we were doing, but everyone who helped get the information, and pass it on to where it was needed, thank you.
If we're doing this, we need to be organised, and we need to do it somewhere other than the journals. If you can get to the forest tonight without anyone seeing you then meet me there, if you can't I'll find you afterwards.
Anyone who would rather act as messenger than spy, let me know. Erika-chan will collate the information we give her so it can be passed on to the leaders, but we're going to need people to get those messages passed on as quickly as possible. If any of you know people who are fast and won't be involved in the main fighting, please pass this on. We need all the help we can get.
